With the Introduction to Rochester History Tour, you’ll get to know our area’s story and visit important locations to its development.

This tour is perfect for residents who want to learn some more about local history. Great for visitors and family outings as well*!

*Not recommended for kids 12 and under.

Discover how fun it is to get around Rochester by bike and experience the City’s investment in bike infrastructure along the way.

WHEN: May 25, June 22, August 10, September 14 | 10 AM – 12:30 PM

MEETING POINT: High Falls Terrace Park (across from Ward Street)

HOW TO GET THERE: Pedal power to the park (check out our Roc Easy Bike Map for low-stress routes to get you there) or put your bike on the RTS bus and ride 4 minutes from the Transit Center to High Falls Terrace Park

HOW LONG: ~ 7.5 miles

COST: $25 per participant

*Refunds are granted only if requested more than two weeks prior to the event. Please note that riders must provide their own bikes and helmets.

Rain Policy

  • Slight Drizzle: Ride will continue.
  • Passing Shower: Wait it out and ride once it passes.
  • Steady Rain: Ride will be canceled & your ticket can be used for one of the remaining tours.
