Customers and community are invited to weigh-in about proposed improvements at Information Sessions and Public Hearing.

RTS is proposing changes to all Suburban Park & Ride routes and is inviting the public to ask questions and provide feedback at two Information Sessions and a Public Hearing…

The Information Sessions will provide details on proposed changes that will go into effect when the RTS Transit Center opens on Nov. 28. The changes are designed to enhance the customers’ transit experience and will include new, streamlined routes while boarding and transferring in the comfort and convenience of the RTS Transit Center.

Information Sessions are set for:

  1. Thursday, July 10, Noon-1 p.m. at Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County, Kate Gleason Auditorium (1st floor), 115 South Ave., Rochester
  2. Thursday, July 17, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 15 St. Mary’s Place, Rochester (off of Court Street, adjacent to Washington Square Park)

The Public Hearing will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 19, in the Grand Hallway of SUNY Brockport Metro Center, 55 St. Paul Street.

There, the public will be required to register to speak in advance and all comments will be presented to the Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority Board.

RTS Suburban Park & Ride Routes that will be affected are:

  • 14 Ridge Road
  • 17 East Avenue
  • 20 Brockport
  • 21 East Rochester
  • 22 Penfield
  • 30 Webster
  • 91 Avon
  • 92 Lyons
  • 96 Hilton/Hamlin

All route changes will be the result of customer input which is collected online and at public
