The ROC ‘n Roll

Our next ROC ‘n Roll is Sunday, June 2, 2024!

The ROC ‘n Roll is a bike ride to help benefit and fuel Reconnect Rochester’s work to champion transportation choices in Rochester.

Take advantage of the early bird registration period and save $10 by registering through April 10th.

We’ve planned two routes to accommodate a variety of riders: an 8-mile family-friendly/casual rider version and a 30-mile ride for the enthusiasts.

  • The 8-mile ride features the traffic-free Riverway Trail.
  • The 30-mile ride is a mix of bike paths, bike lanes, and bike boulevards — and will probably take you places you’ve never seen in Rochester on a bike!

Meet us at Rohrbach Brewing Company’s Beer Hall on Railroad Street, where this year’s ROC ‘n Roll will begin and end. Mingle, have a snack, and get your bike checked starting at 8:30 AM.

  • 8:30 AM: Check-in for longer ride
  • 9 AM: 30-mile ride takes off
  • 10 AM: Check-in for shorter ride
  • 10:30 AM: 8-mile ride takes off

After the ride, riders and non-riding Reconnect supporters will eat, drink, hang out, and participate in this year’s RAFFLE with prizes ranging from gift certificates to event tickets to bike swag! Entertainment will include live music by Backyard Chemistry and yard games.

Want to join us just for the after party? The cost is $10 per person and kids are admitted for FREE. Non-riding adults get one free raffle ticket. Tickets are available at the door, but pre-registration is appreciated!

Cost for Riders (includes event t-shirt)**:

  • $40: Registration between 4/11-5/15
  • $40: Registration between 5/16-6/1 (t-shirt not guaranteed)
  • $50: Day of registration (t-shirt not included)

Children under 18 only $20. Family maximum of $100.

Cost for Party Only**:

  • $10 per person
  • Kids admitted free!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • This is a self-supporting ride with no police escort.
  • Participants must wear a helmet.
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • This event will happen rain or shine.

**Registration does not include the price of food or drinks at After Party. Snacks and water will be provided for riders pre- and post-ride.
